MGGB – Tim Campbell MBE

Members

I trust you are well, despite these extremely difficult times. Our thoughts, prayers and support are with the people of the Ukraine. It was important to hear from Nick Clegg at this time as we all got further insight into the responsibility of the platforms. It was our first hybrid event and I am sure you will agree, it won’t be our last. Over 200 of you joined us in the Claridge’s Ballroom to hear the newly promoted Clegg talk about innovation and responsibility in the platform world.

Our next dinner takes place on 6 April when we will be joined by Tim Campbell MBE. Campbell won the first ever Apprentice back in 2005, landing a £100,000-a-year job with Lord Sugar’s firm Amstrad. He left two years later to found the Bright Ideas Trust, a charity which helps young people to set up their own businesses. At the beginning of this year, he replaced Claude Littner as Lord Alan Sugar’s sidekick on the 16 series of The Apprentice.

I hope you will join us for the evening and as always, you can book tickets online or contact Charlotte and Liv who will be happy to help.

We will be in the Ballroom at Claridge’s, dress code is black tie and the following is the menu for the evening:-

Starter – Tuna tartare, watermelon avocado gazpacho
Main – Lion of Kentish lamb, minted dill jus, rosti potato, spring cabbage
Dessert – Lemon cream shortbread and toasted meringue

Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible on 6 April.

Best wishes
