Dear Members
I do hope those of you who managed to make it to Claridge’s on Wednesday night enjoyed the evening. I want to thank Zaid Al-Qassab and the Channel 4 team for making it possible. I felt it was a truly inspirational evening. As I said at the time, elite athletes , who are also elite characters, gave us an elite evening. A huge thank you goes to Chris Skelley, Ellie Robinson, Millie Knight, Jaco Van Gass, Jude Hamer, Kadeena Cox, Lauren Steadman, Penny Briscoe as well as Alison Cowan from Scope and our host for the evening Ade Adepitan.

Our next dinner is on June 8th (a change in date due to the Platinum Jubilee). Our speaker is going to be Raoul Pal, the CEO and founder of Real Vision Group and Global Macro investor. He is a guiding light when it comes to insight and analysis around Crypto and the Metaverse. He has just started a new venture with one of our members David Pemsel to help navigate the Metaverse. We move from the future of the Paralympics to the future of the Web.
Lastly, as mentioned before we want to do our bit as a club to help those suffering in Ukraine. As a result, we are adding a donation to the cost of the ticket. I’m very aware that these are difficult economic times for many, but extreme difficulty is being faced elsewhere and we want to do our bit to help. As we’ve said before, we are a community of influence.
