Hi Everyone
Thank you to all who joined the Christmas and seasonal extravaganza last Wednesday, and a huge thank you to Liv, Charlotte and Evana for their incredible organisation in the lead up and on the night support.
Richard E Grant lived up to all our expectations by being wickedly funny, soulful and completely and utterly candid. The Brixton Chamber Orchestra gave it their all with some brilliant, revised classics carols. But most importantly and for members who were not able to join on the night we said goodbye to Barry after 29 years of incredible service to the club.
Thank you all for the support so far this season, and I can’t wait to see everybody in the new year where will be kicking off with the incredible veteran political broadcaster John Pienaar on Wednesday 1 February. John will be followed by Chair of The Welcome Trust, women’s leadership advocate supreme, and former Prime Minister of Australia, Julia Gillard on Wednesday 1 March. Both events are live on the MGGB website, please do start booking places.
I can’t wait to see them both and to see you all in the new year.
