MGGB – Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel speakers

Hi Everyone

I hope you enjoyed Wednesday night, as much as I did. It was an absolute privilege and joy to have the brilliantly insightful, candid, sharp and funny Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel with us. It was clear how much they were enjoying this new chapter in their career. Thanks to everyone who asked great questions, it felt like we could have happily gone on all night. A big thank you also to Andria Vidler for an excellent vote of thanks.

As I mentioned on Wednesday night, I’m very excited to announce that Steven Bartlett will be joining us for our November evening and that this will be our ‘Under 30’ night of the season. A night where we invite the next generation of marketing leaders to join us for the evening.

Steven Bartlett founded Social Chain which he sold for £200 million, is probably most famous for being the youngest dragon on Dragon’s Den but is also the host of the 200-episode-strong “Diary of a CEO” podcast, all of this before the age of 30. With the goal this season of understanding this period of transformation by hearing the wisdom of people of all ages I can’t think of a better speaker to inform and inspire us and our under 30 guests.

So please do invite 1, 2, or even a whole table of under 30 guests, that are participating in reverse mentoring, rising talent programmes or are up and coming in your organisation and beyond, to participate in the evening with us.

We will also be joined by members of The School of Marketing, and the Brixton Finishing School, as well as other great industry wide initiatives.

I’m sure it will be a fantastic night and look forward to seeing you on the 2nd.
