Dear Members,
I hope this letter finds you well and enjoying the beautiful summer weather. Thank you to everyone that attended last Wednesday’s dinner with Dame Sharon White. A number of members noted the personal openness, and great insights that Sharon shared on just what it’s like to run the singular organisation that is The John Lewis Partnership. She noted just how much she enjoyed the evening. A huge thank you to Luke Gbedemah for being such an excellent moderator and also to Jane Stiller for the fantastic and impassioned vote of thanks.
I cannot quite believe that we are approaching the final dinner of the season and I am thrilled that we are ending with a speaker that has a similar insight into leading transformation in an organisation that everybody has a connection to and has strongly held opinions, The Director General of the BBC, Tim Davie.
