I hope this letter finds you well and you all had wonderful Easters.
It was good to see so many of you at the Adam Mosseri breakfast which was such a success. A big thank you to Liv, Charlotte and everyone at Claridge’s, for being able to move us from the French Salon to The Ballroom after such a great turnout from members. This was a great way to end the week – an inspiring morning of candid questions, answers and together with insights into the future of technology, Creators, AI and Instagram. A big thank you again to Alexandra Mousavizadeh who facilitated and to Jamie Oliver Media CEO Zoe Collins for a fantastic vote of thanks.
This was also the moment we were able to share some very exciting news; the exceptional Jess Burley, Executive Chair of MSix partners has agreed to be our Chair for the 23/24 MGGB season! I’ve no doubt it will be a fantastic season and I’m so delighted that Jess has agreed to be the next and 73rd Chair.
Turning to May’s dinner, I’m delighted to announce that our speaker will be Will Lewis, Co Founder of The News Movement. I’m sure it will be a hugely interesting evening as Will helps us to understand the biggest transformation – the generational change and the rise of Gen Z.
Former Chief Exec of Dow Jones and Publisher of the Wall Street Journal and Editor of the Daily Telegraph when they broke the MPs expenses scandal. Now founder of The News Movement, Will has completed one of the largest studies on Gen Z in the run up to this year’s Davos. It promises to be a fascinating evening.
