It was good to see so many of you at last night’s MGGB dinner.
I am most grateful to Paul Geddes for a masterclass of narrative and Q&A – a hugely enjoyable evening.
Next month we welcome Lloyd Embley, Group Editor of The Mirror and Sunday Mirror who will bring his customary candour to the news agenda, particularly the current health of left wing politics!
I would recommend you book early – as ever we’ll be operating on a first come, first served basis.
And don’t forgot to book places for the Christmas dinner being held on 2 December. We will be joined by Anastacia in conversation with the lovely Kate Thornton. Anastacia has an extraordinary story – and we’re delighted to be supporting The Anastacia Fund which supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation (www.bcrfcure.org). The BCFD is a charity that Anastacia uses to raise awareness money and support for people suffering and to give them an opportunity for a brighter future. Hence the modest increase in the price for this event.
As it’ll be Christmas we can expect song, conversation and general festive cheer. Not to be missed.
In the meantime see you on 4 November
Best
Robert
