I hope this finds you and your families well.
I’m delighted to announce details for the final online event in our 19-20 MGGB season on Wednesday July 1st 7:30 – 8:45pm.
Our guest speaker will be Alan Jope, CEO of Unilever plc. Alan joined Unilever in the UK in 1985, subsequently working in North America for 14 years and in Asia for 13 years. He served as President of Unilever’s Personal Care business from 2014 until May 2019 when he was appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Alan will be in conversation with Sue Garrard, one of the world’s leading expert practitioners in developing sustainability strategies and former EVP Sustainable Business and Communications at Unilever.
It’s a coup to have Alan speak with us and it promises to be a stimulating evening. To make the event that little bit more special, for all members registering before June 22nd, we will be offering you a choice of ‘red or white’ (see below*). We will send your chosen tipple by post, arriving in time for you to join me in celebrating the culmination of another terrific season at the MGGB.
The event is free, and guests are very welcome (but they need to ‘bring their own’). If you’d like to join please register on the MGGB website (or drop a note to Clare).
