Last week we had another great speaker from the MGGB stables. Jeff Dodd, CEO of Formula E, UK Government advisor and Chair of the Valuable 500 was just as engaging and insightful as we anticipated.
I have learned so much about Formula E, its business model, the drive to create a unique global sports platform, and the challenges posed by our current cultural and geopolitical climate. Despite the ‘snakes and ladders’ Jeff and his team encounter daily, I admire his unwavering optimism and confidence, in their ability to disrupt and achieve their goals.
Our next dinner is on June 4th, and we are honoured to host the Rt Hon Sir Chris Bryant MP, DCMS Minister of State for the Creative Industries, Arts, and Tourism and Minister of State for Data Protection and Telecoms. With so much in his portfolio relevant to our industry, his extensive parliamentary experience, and his genuine passion for the creative industries, I am confident it will be a fascinating evening.
