I hope this letter finds you well, as we technically enter Spring it looks like it’s going to be pretty chilly this week, do wrap up warm!
To all of you who were able to join with your guests last Wednesday, I hope you agree that it was a truly fantastic evening. Julia Gillard more than lived up to her reputation as one of the most impressive global leaders around and certainly the most brilliant advocate of Women’s leadership. Thank you to everyone for being there and I know that the room felt a deep sense of pride. She told me what a great time she had and a big thank you to Cilla Snowball for the introduction to Julia. As I said on the night, that nobody, not even former primes ministers can say no to Cilla!
Looking ahead to March and our next meeting as a group, sadly and I know the reason and it’s unavoidable, but Adam Mosseri, the Global Head of Instagram has to fly to the US on the 28th March, which means he will not be able to attend our dinner on 29th. However, Adam has very kindly said that he will fly back the very next day so we can have our first breakfast meeting as a group of the year at Claridge’s on Friday 31st March. For everyone that has already booked for the dinner, I’m sorry for the disappointment and all of this will be refunded and/or transferred over to breakfast on 31st March.
In the meantime, I hope as many of us can join for what will be a great end to the week and month – we will be starting from 8:30am to 10:15am on 31st March and bookings are now open, we would love a good turn out for this breakfast.
