Last night Ross Brawn, Formula 1 Managing Director of Motorsports got our season off to a lightning start. In conversation with SKY’s David Croft we gleaned some fascinating insights into his incredible career and how the ‘poacher turned gamekeeper’ is endeavouring to re-invent the sport for a new generation.
Next month’s speaker, on Wednesday October 2nd, is Seb James, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Boots. Seb, formerly CEO of Dixons Carphone, has been in post at Boots since September 2018. Not a job for the faint-hearted as Boots is facing some of the toughest trading times in the company’s 170 year history. Seb’s account of how he is giving Boots a makeover, facing into the future and looking to maintain its position as an icon of the British high street should be fascinating.
