May Dinner

Dear members,
For those of you that could join us last week, what a memorable evening we had with the Lead Principal Dancer and Artistic Director of the English National Ballet, Tamara Rojo CBE.
Tamara’s passion and vision for ballet and for the organisation she leads made for an incredibly special dinner. Her story of her love for her art form, the challenges she’s faced as a dancer and a leader, and her humility and directness made for, in my opinion, one of the best dinners of the season so far.
I also got to announce that we have opened booking for the rest of the season, and what I am hoping, are some fantastic dates to get in your diary right away!
Next month, our dinner on 3 May will be a panel on the issue at hand for our industry – ‘fake news, fake metrics, fake brands’. It will be chaired by the wonderful Torin Douglas, and feature Sir Craig Oliver (former Director of Comms at 10 Downing St) and our very own David Pemsel (CEO of the Guardian).
Later in the month, we’re really lucky to be putting on a special breakfast with the Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rt Hon Phillip Hammond MP, on 25 May. This will be a members plus one event given how popular I know that this will be.
Booking is open now for both of these events as well as the rest of the season on the website. What better way to wind down to the Easter weekend than getting your MGGB tickets booked!
Best wishes,
David
