March Dinner – Brexit Panel

Dear members,
I hope you’re as excited as I am for our special Brexit panel at our next dinner on Wednesday 1 March.
We’ve got a stellar line up with a rock star economist , a leading political commentator, and one of Ireland’s most senior business figures, all hosted by the indomitable James O’Brien from LBC:
Dr Pippa Malmgrem (UK Government advisor and former US Presidential Advisor on Economic policy)
Phil Collins (Columnist and Chief Leader Writer of The Times and former Chief Speech Writer to Tony Blair)
John McGrane (Director General of the British Irish Chamber of Commerce)
I’m sure there will be sparks flying on what may be the eve of ‘Article 50’, so let’s prepare for a very lively panel! I know tickets are going fast so please get in touch with Clare right away.
I’m also delighted to confirm our speaker for Wednesday 5 April will be the Artistic Director and Lead Principle Dancer of the English National Ballet, Tamara Rojo CBE.
Tamara is one of the world’s leading practitioners of ballet, and has danced with The Royal Ballet, Scottish Ballet and the ENB through her career. She has been repeatedly recognised for her artistic excellence and has danced the full range of the ENB’s principal roles, including breaking all box office records for her performance of Clara in The Nutcracker at the London Coliseum.
I am hugely looking forward to hearing her talk about inclusivity in creativity (one of the key founding principles of the ENB and a subject close to her heart) and the status of ballet in British culture. I know you’ll be as excited as me so please do buy your tickets soon!
Looking forward to seeing many of you on 1 March.
Best wishes for the weekend,
David
