Mary Portas at the top of the BT Tower was a sellout success and we had a full ballroom last week listening to Peter Long describe the challenges of managing scale and running an organization that owns six European airlines, three cruise-lines, hotels, retail stores and travel agencies across 31 different markets.
Our guest of honour at the next dinner will be Alexandre Ricard who takes the reins as Chairman and Chief Executive of Pernod Ricard this month.
This $10.8 billion distillery and spirits business has built a unique portfolio of international Premium brands and claims to not only focus on innovation to drive growth but also claims to spend one of the largest marketing budgets in the industry.
On March 4th Alex promises to tell us about his ambitions for yet further international growth and the critical importance of digital innovation to heritage brands in product, design and marketing.
