February Dinner – Carolyn Fairbairn

Dear Members,
A belated Happy New Year to you all! I hope you had a great festive season with family and friends and that you’re excited for the year ahead.
On the day that Theresa May has confirmed that we’ll be leaving the single market, what better way to boost the UK economy than to buy a ticket for February’s dinner with one of the country’s leading business figures, the Director General of the CBI, Carolyn Fairbairn.
Carolyn is one of the key voices at the top of British business, having started her early career in roles at McKinsey, the Number 10 Policy Unit, and as a business journalist on the Economist. She quickly rose through the ranks into senior leadership roles across the media industry at the BBC and ITV, and non-executive roles spanning the manufacturing, services and banking sectors, as well as at the CMA and the FSA.
At our first dinner of the year on 1st February, Carolyn will touch on Brexit, how we build the future leaders of British business, and her personal reflections on our industry and the year ahead. I’m sure you won’t want to miss the opportunity to hear from her so please book through the website or get in touch with Clare right away!
In March we’ll be having an Article 50 / Brexit themed panel which I can guarantee will be a lively debate!
I look forward to seeing you on 1st February.
With best wishes,
David
