What a great turn out last week to hear Dave Lewis demonstrate why he may just be the man to rescue Tesco. A terrific atmosphere – thanks to all of you who were able to join us.
For those of you unable to be there, you missed the announcement that David Wheldon, Chief Marketing Officer RBS takes on the MGGB Chair next season. Congratulations David.
Next month we have a Member + 2 dinner at Queens Tennis Club when ATP CEO and Chairman Chris Kermode will be hosting us for drinks on the famous terrace and dinner in their private dining room. Chris will share his thoughts on the world of tennis – and as it’s the second Thursday of Wimbledon I’m sure we’ll all have tennis on the brain.
A year punctuated so far by doping scandals, match fixing scandals and Andy Murray nearly winning Roland Garros … it’s sure to be lively. The dress code is lounge suits and the atmosphere will be informal – and you can congratulate David in person who will be giving the vote of thanks.
